News
We are seeking information on two Revolutionary War stories that may be related. Legends abound that cannons captured at Fort Ticonderoga were hauled to Boston by General Henry Knox and some may be buried on the Dudley / Thompson line. Another story is that Knox hauled with hundreds of oxen these same cannons from the Dorchester Heights battle in Boston down to Norwich through Thompson CT. We seek all evidence for these stories.
